Beacon Products have proudly been used in Aerospace & Aviation for over 70 years. Noted industrial usage includes aircraft and aerospace epoxies and sealants for space missions, military and defense production, helicopter manufacturing and repair, drone manufacturing and repair, navigation systems, control panels, commercial air crafts, firewall assembly, shaker control assembly, shims, and more. Magna-Tac A39: Used on Fuel management systems. Meets Specifications: MMM-A-134 Type 1.

MagnaTac F310 is formulated with exceptionally low hydrolysable chloride for exceptional chemical resistance to aggressive solvents and concentrated acids.

Magna-Tac A31

MagnaTac A-31 adhesive is a two-part, room temperature curing, epoxy resin formulation for general purpose applications. It is thixotropic with a creamy or buttery consistency that is easy to work and apply. Higher temperatures do not affect the thixotropy, tending, on the contrary, to inhibit flow further. Color is neutral.

Magna-Tac TR 8899

Magna-Tac TR-8899 is a one part formulated thermosetting epoxy designed to adhere metals and alloys in transformer cores as well as electric motors and stators.

Magna-Tac 648T

Magna-Tac M648T is a high-strength, room-temperature-curing, 100%-Reactive, two-component, formulated epoxy adhesive designed for bonding all metals and other rigid materials (such as glass, ceramics, plastics, plastic foams and structural laminates) to themselves and to each other.

Magna-Cryl 2807

Magna-Cryl 2807 is a clear, UV curable lamination adhesive for bonding flexible or rigid materials such as mylar, polypropylene, polycarbonate, polyester, or PVC. It is particularly suited for applications where optical clarity is mandatory. Best results are achieved when Magna-Cryl 2807 is cured through one of the substrates, However, MagnaCryl 2807 can be also be cured first before substrates are joined.

Magna-Cryl 2464

Magna-Cryl 2464 is a UV curable, permanent coating providing painted and bare metal aircraft parts with a protective coating against exposure to jet fuels and other aircraft fluids. It meets Boeing’s BMS 1060-A specification to protect aircraft parts from exposure to standard aircraft fluids.

Magna-Tac A39

Magna-Tac A-39 is a 100% solids, two-component, solvent-free, formulated epoxy adhesive in paste form specifically designed for metal-to-metal applications and for bonding other rigid materials such as glass, plastics, wood and structural laminates based on glass or fiber reinforced melamine, silicone, polyester, phenolic, epoxy, etc., resins.

Magna-Tac M620 is an easy to use “no-mix”, 100% reactive, solvent free, formulated epoxy adhesive that produces high strength, structural bonds between practically any materials which can withstand a heat cure. Beacon Adhesives Epoxies and UV curables are ideal for electronic and assembly usage. The viscosity and cure time of our UV curable adhesives make them ideal for screen printing applications where only a precise amount of adhesive is applied. By using screen printing, our customers are also able to cut down on waste. Our customers are in many industries include OEM, Electronic Assembly, PCB (printed circuit boards). Adhesive types include semiconductor adhesives, conformal coatings, die attachments, glob top, heat sink attachments, lid sealing, surface mount adhesives, underfil encapsulates. Flexographic & Screenprinting

Flexograph and Screen Printing

Beacon was one of the pioneers in UV Chemistry, formulating specialty adhesives for both flexograph and screen printing since the 1980's. Beacon Adhesives is aware of the importance of adhesives in Flexograph and Screen printing. The right balance of properties must be achieved in order to ensure success with projects.

Flexo and Screen printing is an area of expertise. Our adhesives are used in pattern printing and selective printing. Specific applications include but are not limited to:

Magna-Cryl 3500 for overlays and membrane switch
Magna-Cryl 6551 for Immediately Removable Coupons and Piggy Back Labels
Magna-Cryl 2804, 2807, 5000 for laminating for Magna printed circuit boards, nameplates, and more.

Our adhesives have been used on several products and in various industries. In the cosmetics industry, our adhesives are used on labels for lipstick, make-up, nail polish, and sample products. In food and drug, shampoo labels, toothpaste boxes, canned food, and beverages all have used our products. Wine, labels for local wineries. Pharmaceutical applications include labels for nutritional supplements or prescription drugs. In packaging, our products are often used on tamper evident applications, security strips, and holograms on blister packs.

In addition to UV curables we can also offer heat seal adhesives as well as solvent based adhesives.

Magna-Cryl 6551

Magna-Cryl 6551 is a U.V. curable adhesive designed to laminate film stocks such as OPP, PP, and PE to one another. The peel strength of Magna-Cryl 6551 is designed to allow delamination of these films by the end user, making it ideal for IRC’s (immediately redeemable coupons) or “Piggy Back” labels where the films are ultimately separated. Magna-Cryl 6551 is applied in a flexo’s ink station cures at speeds between 150 and 300 fpm depending on UV lamp power.

Magna-Cryl 4520

Magna-Cryl 4520 is a free radical U. V. curable adhesive designed to be for the “wet lamination” cold foil process. This “wet lamination” process is illustrated below where the foil and substrate are married and where curing occurs through the foil. Magna-Cryl 4520 offers adhesion to both paper and film stocks and offers good adhesion using foils from various manufacturers. When evaluating Magna-Cryl 4520 it is important to consult with our distributors, agents, or foil partners.

Magna-Cryl 4505 F

Magna-Cryl 4505F is a U.V. curable cold foil adhesive designed to be applied via flexo press running at speeds between 300 and 400 fpm. It was designed print on film substrates and to adhere pattern printed foil in a specific pattern quickly and easily.

Magna-Cryl 3400 is a light tack UV curable pressure sensitive adhesive. Magna-Cryl 3400 adhesive is a removable pressure sensitive adhesive that peels cleanly off of most surfaces. Magna-Cryl 3400 Adhesive is designed for ease of use and for trouble free operation.

Magna-Cryl 3300

Magna-Cryl 3300 is a UV curable, removable adhesive that exhibits soft, easy to peel properties and is designed to leave no residue on most surfaces. Magna-Cryl 3300 may be used on substrates including polyester, polycarbonate, PVC, and BOPP. In addition, Magna-Cryl 3300 offers excellent adhesion to various metals, and paper stocks.

Our well renowned Electric Motor Product Line offers adhesives that are specifically formulated to withstand the many conditions that electric motors may be exposed to. Our products have been trusted to bond rotor and stator laminations, magnets, cyclotrons, and cosmotrons. We also offer high temperature electrical potting compounds and powdered epoxies for electrical insulating and electric conductivity as well as UV curable adhesives for temporary metal maskants and insulating coatings.

Stack Lamination

Magna-Tac E645 is our most popular product in the Electric Motor Industry. This epoxy is used for bonding stack laminations used in stators, rotors, gyros, servomechanisms, synchros, transformers, and magnetic amplifiers. It can also be used as an insulting varnish for impregnated coils and small electrical equipment. Bonding is achieved by heat. Only sufficient pressure to assure complete contact is needed. This adhesives is a great choice as an adhesive/dielectric in the fabrication of magnetic accelerator units such as cyclotrons and cosmotrons. This adhesive has been used in motors which meet US Air Force DWG #Z8019406 Rev E
Magna-Tac F310 is also designed for high temperature applications including motor laminates and transformer cores. This epoxy is formulated with exceptionally low hydrolysable chloride for exception chemical resistance to aggressive solvents and concentrated acids

UV Curable Protective Coatings

Magna-Cryl 2464 is a UV curable permanent protective coating conforming to Boeing BMS 1060A for exposure to jet fuels and other aircraft fluids.
Magna-Cryl 2510 is a UV curable protective insulating coating for cold rolled steel and other metals. This provides excellent electrical insulation.
Magna-Cryl 2825 is a UV curable protective coating designed to protect metals during the plating process. It offers excellent adhesion for clean and precise masking yet allows for easy removal anytime during of after the plating process without cracking, breaking, or splitting.

Potting Compounds

Magna-Tac BU120D is a high strength 100% reactive potting compound. Ideal for high performance applications involved the bonding of all metals and other rigid materials such as glass, ceramics, and structural laminates to themselves
Magna-Tac M773 cures at room temperature to a tough semi-rigid polymer. It has good wetting and adhesives and is free flowing to penetrate voids and gives good air release and a smooth high gloss surface
Magna-Tac M677 is a UL94 V-) compliant, flame retardant, self-leveling, high strength epoxy. This adhesive is commonly used for encapsulating/potting electronic/electrical devices, bonding skins to cores, bonding rigid expanded plastic foams to themselves or to metal, plywood, or other rigid materials.

Magnet Bonding

The below epoxies are ideal for magnet bonding based on their strength, gap and void filling.
- Magna-Tac 620 in a "no-mix" 100% reactive solvent free epoxy. Fully cured bonds exhibit minimal shrinkage, are electrical insulators and provide excellend resistance to weahter, galvanic action and most chemicals acids
