Beacon Adhesives Navigating Through COVID-19

During this unprecedented time, Beacon Adhesives has shifted gears to use our resources to manufacture and produce disinfectant products.  We made this pivot when shortages of hand sanitizer and other disinfectant products became apparent, and we knew we had to join the fight to quell COVID-19, otherwise known as the coronavirus.

Never in a million years did Beacon think we would have to make such a shift in order to produce disinfecting products, but we’re extremely grateful to have the capability and capacity to do so.  Serving our consumers is always a top priority, so this transition was a no brainer.  We’re always up for a challenge and being adroit has always been something we take pride in.  Beacon has proudly manufactured a Travel Disinfectant Spray and a Multi-Surface Disinfectant all in our facility located in Mt, Vernon, New York.  The travel sized product can be found at Dollar Tree and the Multi-Surface Disinfectant is sold at Ocean State.

While we’re helping to fight the spread of COVID-19, we also want to raise awareness among adults that disinfectant products should be kept out of reach of children.  It’s also important to note if exposed to these products, they are not to be consumed or ingested.  We take the safety of our customers very seriously.

The long term effects of COVID-19 are still largely unknown and we plan to continue to produce disinfectant products post-pandemic.  Based on the world-wide impact of this virus, we believe people’s habits on personal hygiene have been forever changed, so there’s no question in regards to continuing to produce these products.

Disclosure: These products are NOT to be consumed or ingested.  They are not intended for skin contact or ingestion.  Keep out of reach of children.

Multi-Surface Travel Disinfectant Spray (75% alcohol solution)

Direction of Use:

We recommend spraying the TRAVEL DISINFECTANT onto a towel and then cleaning the desired surface. If you are concerned with spilling or getting the alcohol on your hands, you may wear rubber or latex gloves. Using the alcohol-soaked towel, clean the surface you want to disinfect. It is great for countertops, door handles, telephones, and other solid surfaces. If you wish to use it to disinfect glass surfaces, first mix the alcohol with some water; diluting the substance creates a gentle cleaner that’s better for fragile surfaces.

This is a great product for on the go.  Great for disinfecting clothes, steering wheel or seats in your vehicle.  You don’t want to leave this product at home!
