DIY Sundae Funday Ice Cream Party

Did you hear the scoop?  Our favorite day of the week is SUNDAE and we want to celebrate.  Okay, we’ll chill with the ice cream puns but we’re just really excited about this DIY Sundae Funday Ice Cream Party.  We partnered with Caroline Bell Creative and a variety of amazing brands, to show you all how to throw the ultimate Sundae Funday Ice Cream Party.  You definitely can’t go wrong with this sweet theme, so we put together a list of everything you’ll need to host your cool bash!

DIY Ice Cream Cone Balloon

We have to admit, we’re kind of obsessed with how these DIY Ice Cream Cone Balloons turned out.  They might be our favorite party accessory ever!  These can be used as a table centerpiece, yard decoration, a photo booth prop or intertwined into a balloon garland, just like how Caroline did.  Grab Beacon Felt Glue and Beacon Power-Tac and learn how to make these yourself!

Supplies:

Beacon Adhesives Felt Glue
Beacon Adhesives Power-Tac
1 White Balloon (5-inch size)
1 Red or Pink Craft Pom Pom (1-inch size)
1 Waffle Cone
Sprinkle Pop Shop Sprinkles
Hand-Held Air Balloon Pump

Instructions:

Step 1: Blow up balloon using hand-held air balloon pump.  Before tying the balloon, place it in the opening of the waffle cone to ensure it’s small enough to fit inside of the cone.

Step 2: Line inside opening of the waffle cone with Felt Glue.

Step 3: Place inflated balloon inside of the waffle cone.  Hold it gently for 10 seconds to secure balloon to the glue.

Step 4: Line the outside rim of the waffle cone with Felt Glue.

Step 5: Pour sprinkles onto the glue on the waffle cone rim.

Step 6: Squeeze Felt Glue onto the top of the balloon.

Step 7: Gently rub in the glue with your finger in a circle motion.

Step 8: Pour Sprinkle Pop Shop sprinkles onto the wet glue on the balloon top.

Step 9: Place a dollop of Power-Tac on the sprinkled balloon top.

Step 10: Place craft pom pom on the wet Power-Tac and gently press down to secure the “cherry.”

Step 11: Let your cones dry overnight.

NOTE: Once glue is applied to the cone, the cone is NOT edible.  This DIY is for decor purposes only.
