DIY Personalized Holiday Signs

While we love crafting all year round, there’s something different about crafting during the holidays!  The possibilities of what to craft are endless, so we collaborated with Craft Box Girls and CraftCuts.com to bring you all three personalized signs to get your house ready for the holidays.  We love these signs because you can completely customize them to say whatever you want.  CraftCuts.com has a variety of beautiful fonts to choose from, so we made sure to show you all how to make more than one sign.  These signs are great for your own home but also make for a great holiday gift.  Follow along below and watch the video below to learn how to craft all three tutorials.

Supplies for FA LA LA Sign:

DIY Personalized Holiday Signs

Beacon Adhesives Fast Finish Decoupage
Beacon Adhesives Gem-Tac
Beacon Adhesives Quick Grip
CraftCuts FA LA LA LA 5″ inch Baltic Birch Wood Letters
CraftCuts 18″ inch Baltic Birchwood Circle
Foiled paper
Christmas light embellishments
Candy cane ribbon
Twice white paint
Craft knife

Instructions for FA LA LA Sign:

Step 1: Paint the wood circle white or any color you choose.

Step 2: Cover the letters with Beacon Fast-Finish Decoupage and adhere to the foiled paper.  Cut off the excess foil using a craft knife.

Step 3: Glue the letters to the circle using Quick-Grip.

Step 4: Apply Quick-Grip in a squiggly pattern to the circle and place twine onto circle.

Step 5: Glue the Christmas light embellishments around the twine and onto the sign using Gem-Tac.

Step 6: Make a bow and glue onto to the sign using Quick Grip.
