DIY Paper Succulent

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a do it yourself paper succulent planter.  This simple planter succulent is the gift that keeps on giving!  And no need to worry about keeping it alive, as this requires zero maintenance.  This tutorial is really simple and all you need are a few supplies.  Follow the steps below to learn how to make your own!

Supplies:

Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry
Beacon Adhesives Power-Tac
Cardstock
Scissors
Oasis Foam
Faux Moss
Planter
Template (This template was designed by Craft Box Girls.)

Instructions:

Step 1: Using card stock and the downloadable template, cut 8 large petals, 6 medium petals, 6 small petals, 4 extra small petals and one base piece.

Step 2: With scissors, cut halfway up each petal.

Step 3:  Glue the flaps together using Beacon Zip-Dry.

Step 4: Curl each petal out.

Step 5: Glue petals to the base piece, starting with the largest petals and layering into the smallest petals.

Step 6: Repeat with various card stock or patterns to create unique succulent shapes and sizes.

For Assembly In Planter

Step 1: Place oasis foam within the planter of your choice.

Step 2: Add faux moss on top of the foam.

Step 3: Secure succulents with Beacon Power-Tac.
