DIY Embellished Sunglasses

Hello sunshine!  We’ve been patiently waiting for you!  With the weather finally warming up, we thought why not take those old pair of sunnies we’ve had laying around and turn them into a fashion statement.  Sunglasses are the one accessory we can’t be without during the Summer and it’s fun to be able to add your own personal touch with some crystal embellishments.  And what’s great about these is that they don’t cost a lot of make!  You can find a fairly inexpensive pair at your local craft store, or even Amazon.  So, are you ready to explore you craft skills and turn your sunglasses into a statement piece?  Grab your Beacon Gem-Tac and follow the steps below to design your own!

Supplies:

Beacon Adhesives Gem-Tac
Sunglasses
Crystals
Wax Pen

Instructions:

Step 1: Pour a small amount of Gem-Tac onto a plate.

Step 2: Use a wax pen to pick up your crystals easily.

Step 3:  Dip a small amount of glue onto the back of the crystal.

Step 4: Wait for the glue to get tacky and then apply to the frame of your sunglasses.

Step 5: Let the glue dry before wearing your sunglasses.

Note: Unlike some other glues, Gem-Tac does NOT contain PERC, which is known as a carcinogen.
