Today we are sharing an Easter themed Paper Mache Bunnies project created by Beacon Maker, Designer Donna Budzynski using Beacon Fast Finish Decoupage and 3 in 1 glues. This project is so fun and easy to make. The perfect accessory for the Easter Table, Mantle or part of an Easter Tea Party with the girls.

Sweet Paper Mache Bunnies

Materials:

  • Beacon Fast Finish Decoupage
  • Beacon 3-in-1
  • 2 Paper Mache bunnies – Jo Ann’s
  • Paper – DCWV Garden Charm
  • Lilac Acrylic paint
  • Sanding paper
  • Color Box Blends-Nutmeg
  • Lace
  • Ribbon
  • Color Box Blends-Nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Trace bunnies onto back of paper and cut out.

    Note: You can also paint the bunnies first before tracing the bunny shape onto the paper.

  2. Using Beacon’s Fast Finish Decoupage adhere papers down to bunny. I did both sides. Let dry. sweet paper mache bunnies, cut
  3. Paint sides of bunnies and let dry.paper on
  4. I sanded the painted areas and the edges of the paper. Wipe off. Sweet Paper Mache Bunnies, sanded
  5. Using Color Box Blends-Nutmeg, I blended the ink into the paper and the sides to give the bunnies a vintage look.finished 1
  6. Adhere lace and bow using Beacon’s 3-in-1 Adhesive. Easter bunny, Beacon Fast Finish Decoupage

How fun was that? Can’t wait to make a few of these for my Easter decor. You could even add rhinestones or other fun embellishments to these. Pick colors that work for your Easter theme.
