• Baby blue acrylic paint
• Blueberry acrylic paint
• Cadmium yellow acrylic paint
• Dark pink acrylic paint
• Ebony black acrylic paint
• Light buttermilk acrylic paint
• 3 Craft hearts, 1” X 1/8”
• 2 Craft hearts, 1⁄2” X 1/8” for beak
• White nylon brush, 2/4” wash
• White nylon brush, #4 round
• Styrofoam ball, 1 1⁄2”
• Sytrofoam hen egg, 2 1⁄2” X 2” for body
• Toothpicks

Instructions:
1.	Press the 1 ½ “ ball firmly on a table to make a flat spot. Repeat with the hen egg by flattening one long side.
2.	Paint the egg and ball baby blue. Paint the three 1” wood hearts baby blue. Stipple blueberry paint around each heart to add shading.
3.	Paint the two ½” hearts cadmium yellow. Let dry.
4.	Break each of the toothpicks in half. Apply Hold The Foam Glue to the end of one toothpick and then stick it halfway into the flat side of the bird’s head.
5.	Apply Hold the Foam to the other end of the toothpick and press the head onto the hen egg body.
6.	With scissors, snip a slit in the Styrofoam at the front of the head for the upper beak. Snip another hold just below the first for the lower beak. Apply Hold the Foam to each ½” heart and press the heart into the slit.
7.	With dark pink paint, paint approximately a 3/8” circle cheek on each side of the bird’s face. Dot the eye with ebony black. When eyes and cheeks are dry, dot each with light buttermilk paint.
8.	With the scissors, snip a slit at the back of the bird’s body for the tail. Apply Hold the Foam to the blue heart tail and then press into slit.
9.	Glue a blue heart wing at each side of the bird’s body.
