Level: Moderate

Materials
LIQUID LAMINATE

Glass hurricane lamp
Black onyx jewel paint
Fiber embedded tissue paper in the white, orange, yellow, and green
Daffodil template
Paper plate, paper towels, tape
Tapered candle to fit the size of the hurricane lamp. Don’t use thick candles that touch the sides of the lmap.

Instructions:
1. Clean and dry the glass.
2. Print the patterns, cut them out, and tape to the inside of the glass. You may not need all the flowers, depending on the size and shape of the glass.
3. Following the paint bottle instructions, outline each flower, on the outside of the glass, with the paint. Allow to dry 24 hours.
4. Tear the tissue paper into pieces no larger than a quarter.
5. Using your hands, dip pieces of the white tissue paper into LIQUID LAMINATE and apply the tissue to the entire inside of the glass. This is the background color.
6. Repeat this process for each color of tissue and apply to each section of the daffodil outline that corresponds to the color: green for leaves, yellows for petals, etc. It may be necessary to add another layer of paper to achieve the desired color. Follow the photo for suggestions.
7. Let dry for at least 24 hours before using.
