| Instructions: |
| 1. |
Glue the paper to the composition book with FABRI-TAC. Fold the corners to the inside cover as if you were making a bed. |

Glue the paper to the spine, cover, and inside cover with Fabri-Tac. Attach ribbons with Fabri-Tac to inside cover as in photo. |
| 3. |
Spray the 3 fabric pieces with STIFFEN STUFF, dry completely, and iron smooth. |
| 4. |
Cut fabric into ½” strips and 1⁄4” strips---8 of each. |
| 5. |
Weave the 1⁄2” strips into an 11” X 6” piece for the spine. Use a drop of FABRI-TAC under each strip end to secure weaving. |

Weave the ¼” strips into a 4” X 5” piece for the frame with a drop of Fabri-Tac under each strip end to secure weaving. |
| 7. |
On the larger weaving, fold under all around the edges, glue one strip under with FABRI-TAC to achieve a finished edge. |
| 8. |
Glue large weaving to spine of book as in photo. |
| 9. |
Use the FABRI-TAC to glue the small weaving to the cardboard frame. Fold and glue the weaving around the frame. Open the center and fold/glue the extra fabric behind the frame. |
| 10. |
Place photo behind the frame and glue to the covered journal as in the photo. |
| 11. |
Attach the buttons and any other embellishment you care to add with FABRI-TAC. |
