ZIP DRY PAPER GLUE
• Indie file box, #20087, C & T Publishing
• 2 sheets 12” X 12” scrapbook paper, either the same or coordinated
• Ribbon or trims of choice to match
• Embellishments such as buttons, gems, flowers, etc.
||Center the file box onto the wrong side of one sheet of scrapbook paper. Line up the paper edge with the front lid opening & wrap the paper over the box front, under the box bottom, and around to the back of the box up to the line indicated by the lid opening on the back. Fold paper against the box edges to make paper fit neatly.
||Trim excess paper by lid back and glue all paper, front & back, in place with ZIP DRY.
||Make two slits just toward the box bottom in the excess paper extending from the box sides. Fold the paper from the bottom to the box sides, gluing to the box. Fold the remaining paper along the sides, making sure the seam is on the box back, and glue in place. The box front & sides should now be neatly covered with paper.
||Repeat with the second sheet of paper, placing it on the box lid, and cover lid as you did with the box itself: fold, trim excess, slit paper & glue as before.
||Glue ribbon or trim around the box opening at the edge of the lid. Add embellishments, a ribbon loop for the lid, etc. as in photos.
