Materials
KIDS CHOICE GLUE
GEM-TAC

3” papier mâché box
Green acrylic paint
Yellow rickrack
Yellow embroidery floss
Cardstock: green, orange
One 1 1⁄2” pompom
Two 7 mm moveable eyes
1⁄4” orange satin ribbon, 7 3/8”
5 7/16” green buttons
Heart punch, 5/8” circle punch
Paintbrush, scissors, ruler, pinking paper edgers, black permanent fine tip marker, pencil

Instructions:
1. Paint inside and outside of papier mâché box with 2-4 coats of green paint, drying between coats.
2. Cut 2 pieces of yellow rickrack 9” longs. Glue to top and bottom edges of the box with KIDS CHOICE GLUE.
3. Cut a piece of yellow embroidery floss 1” for the mouth. Using photo as a guide, glue move and moveable eyes onto the green pompon.
4. Punch two hearts from the orange cardstock and glue to the side of the yellow mouth as cheeks.
5. Glue pompom on as seen in photo.
6. Punch 4 circle from green cardstock using the circle punch to make the feet. Cut one edge of each with pinking edgers. Draw lines around the edges of the feet with the marker.
7. Trace tail pattern onto green cardstock and cut out. Draw lines around the tail with the marker.
8. Glue feet and tail to the bottom of the turtle.
9. Make a bow with the orange ribbon, cutting ends at an angle. Apply a dab of glue to each end as a sealant and glue bow onto turtle.
10. Glue green buttons around the turtle with GEM-TAC.
