Butterfly Message Holder
Level: Easy

• 9” X 12” cork message board with frame at least 3⁄4” or wider, your choice.
• White or blue craft foam
• Blue & purple card stock
• Baby blue rickrack
• Blue or purple plaid decorative paper, or of your choice
• Medium butterfly paper punch
• Decorative scissors, thumb tacks, paper crimper, paper cutter, ruler,thumb tacks

Instructions:
1.	If necessary, widen sides of corkboard to 1 ¾” by cutting a 1” wide strip of craft foam and glue strips to inside frame edges.
2.	Cut strips of plaid paper 1 4/3” wide to fit around the frame. Glue in place with ZIP DRY, covering frame edge.
3.	Glue blue rickrack around paper edges as in photo.
4.	Punch out four butterflies from the blue card stock for the frame and six purple ones, running all through the paper crimper. Glue butterflies as seen in photo.
5.	Cut out four 1 ½” squares of purple card stock and run through the paper crimper. Cut edges using the decorative scissors and glue one square to each corner of the frame.
6.	Cut four 1 ½” square of blue card stock and punch our a butterfly shape from the centers. Run through the crimper and then glue squares over the blue corners at an angle as in photo.
7.	Cut out as many butterflies as needed for thumb tacks and run through the crimper. Glue butterflies to the top of the thumb tacks.
