Large photo box
Paper trimmer
7 large grommets
1 small scrapbook frame
2 sheets of polka dot patterned paper, or design of your choice
2 sheets of checked patterned paper, or design of your choice
1 sheet orange paper, or coordinating color of your choice
• 1 yard coordinating rickrack
• 1 roll 3/8” white ribbon
• 1 roll thin black ribbon
• 1 roll thin satin ribbon, coordinating color with papers
• 11” length of 3 1/2” wide white mesh
• X-acto knife, scissors, pencil, ruler, cutting mat

Instructions:
BOX LID
1. Measure & mark a 2 ?” by 10 ?” rectangle on one side of the box lid. Use the X-acto knife and ruler to cut out the rectangle.
2. With the paper trimmer, cut strips of the polka dot paper to fit the two ends of the box lid plus an extra ?” to fold to the inside. Glue in place with ZIP DRY.
3. Turn the box upside down and place on a cutting mat. Use the X-acto knife to remove the paper covering the rectangle in the top of the box.
4. Turn right side up and glue the white mesh over the now open rectangle. Glue two pieces of white ribbon along each length of the mesh to cover uneven edges.
5. Cut a piece of orange paper to measure the length of the box top by
2 1/2” wide. Glue in place just under the open rectangle.
6. Cut a piece of checked paper the same dimensions. Tear the two long edges and glue it, centering over the orange paper.
7. Cut a piece of the white ribbon the length of the box lid and glue, centering along the length of the checked paper.
8. Glue a length of black ribbon across the top of the white ribbon, and glue a piece of rickrack along the bottom of the white ribbon.
9. Glue a piece of rickrack across each end of the lid, covering any uneven edges of mesh.
10. Embellish the box lid with the frame, small flowers, and any leftover ribbon
BOX
1. Cut two pieces of checked paper to fit the long sides of the box and two pieces of coordinating paper for the ends. Glue these in place.
2. Cut and glue a piece of paper to fit the bottom of the box. Following manufacturer’s instructions, attach grommets into one long side of the box. For extra stability, glue grommets in place.
3. Place rolls of ribbon in the box, pulling the end of each roll through a grommet.
4. Use the back part of the storage box for craft tools.
