Benefits

  • No Residual Tack
  • No Release Coating Required
  • Smooth Peel

Magna-Cryl 6551 Series is a dry peel, also known as a fugitive adhesive, designed to temporarily laminate two substrates. Similar to a removable adhesive, it provides temporary adhesion but leaves no tack and residue once the substrates have been separated. It is ideal for coupons and specialty labels.

  • Magna-Cryl 6551 is a UV-curable adhesives designed to be applied with a flexo or letter press print station. It is suited for paper to film, or film to film applications. Recommended anilox count ranges from 200 to 500 line. The adhesion strength can be increased by using an anilox with a lower line count and can be decreased by using an anilox with a higher line count. We recommend curing the Magna-Cryl 6551 with a minimum of one 300 watt UV lamp.

Application Procedure:

1) Print adhesive onto the substrate. The adhesive can be printed in a pattern or full flood. Start with a 200 line anilox using a doctor blade. Increase or decrease the anilox line count as needed.

2) Cure the adhesive with a UV dryer on "LOW" setting. Set UV dryer auto ramp in "OFF" position.

3) Immediately laminate the top substrate within 3" after curing with a hard durometer roller (85 durometer or higher) using high pressure.
