“Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree, How Beautiful and Lovely!”

Its a Christmas Wonderland over here, lots of festive crafting going on, especially with our Beacon Makers. Here is a super creative way to dress up store bought bottle brush trees from the craft store. Beacon Maker and Designer Joan Kettell, Joan Kettell Designs, used both Beacon Adhesives Power Tac and Tacky Glue to put this piece together.

Materials:

  • Beacon Adhesives Tacky Glue
  • Beacon Adhesives Power Tac
  • Bottle Brush Glittered Tree (Target, Michaels)
  • Small Holiday Tin Can
  • Thin Clear Tinsel Strands (size of sewing thread)
  • Christmas Tree Trimmings, Miniatures (All Craft Stores)
  • Optional: Tinsel, Ribbons, Trim, Glitter

Step One

Decorate the bottle brush tree with various Christmas miniatures. Glue in place with Beacon Adhesives Tacky Glue.

Step Two

Glue your decorated bottle brush tree to the small tin container using Beacon Adhesives Power Tac.

Step Three

Finish decorating your tin and tree with more miniatures, trims, and glitter.

This project will add some Holiday Magic to your Home or Office. Make a few as gifts, turn into ornaments, line the Holiday table or add to the mantle.
