What can you make with Beacon Adhesives Fabri-Tac, Fabric and Paints? Cute Halloween treat bags!!! Today I’d like to share with you a super fun and easy project to do; Halloween Treat Bags. These fun little treat bags have a cool 80’s vibe, with bright colors and kawaii style illustration. Let’s scroll down so you can make some of your own.
- Beacon Adhesives Fabri-Tac
- Muslin Fabric, Jo-Ann’s Stores
- Acrylic Paints, Deco Art
- Other; Scissors, Paint Brush, Water, Ruler, Pencil, Black Paint Pen
Measure a 12 inch by 12 inch square onto muslin fabric and cut.
After you cut the muslin fabric, fold the piece in half. See Photo Below.
Apply Fabri-Tac to the two pieces of muslin at the bottom edge. The bottom piece and the top piece (Make sure you line the glue on unfolded edge) Then fold over and press. The fold should be about 1 inch in width.
Repeat Step 3 on the two side of the muslin. You don’t have to glue the folded side.
Next fold the piece in half again so both sides are touching. Glue in place with more Fabri-Tac. Let Dry.
Draw a pumpkin illustrations onto the muslin bags with a pencil. Then paint the illustrations with acrylic craft paint. Let dry.
Outline the painted illustrations with a black paint pen.
Now you can fill with candies or special treats for your party guests and special trick or treater this Halloween.
Instead of treat bags try using this idea to make place mats or a fun Halloween table runner to wow your guests. The possibilities are endless as long as you are having fun.
