Each project was created with a variety of Beacon Adhesives products including Power Tac, Fabri Tac, Glitter It, Coat and Create.

First up on the list is an ornament I made using Beacon Adhesives Power Tac. This year I’ve become obsessed with vintage pastel cars & trucks. Sweet trees, typography and anything kitsch is getting me excited. I created this ornament using tin truck ornament from Christmas Tree Shops, pink bottle brush tree that I dyed with Pink Rit Dye, lettering from Paper House, some stars, Hygloss glitter and glued everything in place with Beacon Adhesives Power Tac. Finally I added sparkle to the star with glitter and Beacon Adhesives Coat and Create. These were so much fun to make, I may make 12 more.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas with this next ornament by Beacon Maker and Designer Joan Kettell, Joan Kettell Designs who chose an old world whimsical theme w/this ornament using Beacon Adhesives Power Tac Glue and Tacky Glue, pine cones, spun cotton bird and other holiday trimmings. Perfect accessory to any holiday tree.

Love pine cone ornaments and couldn’t resist making a variety of them. This ornament is made with craft store pine cones, glitter, paint, tinsel chenille stems, small foam heads, millinery, Christmas miniatures, and Beacon Adhesives Power Tac and Tacky Glue. Just assemble everything and glue in place with Power Tac. Add some glitter using Tacky Glue. I call this beauty. The Cotton Candy Fairy. Soon she will be surrounded by some friends on the Christmas Tree.

Sometimes last years Christmas lights burn out. Don’t throw them away, recycle them into Christmas ornaments using Beacon Adhesives Coat and Create Glue and glitter. Simply brush on a layer of Coat and Create, let dry clear and tacky to touch. Then roll into glitter, sequins or flocking of choice. Finish the bulb with wire or bakery twine to hang it up on the tree.

No Christmas is ever complete with out a wreath. Why not try making smaller wreaths and turn into ornaments for the tree. For this project I spray painted small bottle brush wreaths, lined with my scrapbook paper, millinery, trims, and handmade Matryoshka Figurines I created from air dry clay. Glued everything to the wreath using Beacon Adhesives Quick Grip and 3 in 1 Glue.

Vintage themes never goes out of style especially when it comes to making Holiday Crafts. This next ornament is a vintage style ornament made with fabric scraps, trims, ribbons, sequins and Beacon Adhesives Fabri-Tac. The base is a styrofoam ball, coated in Fabri-Tac and layered with various fabric scraps. All the trims and embellishments were attached with Fabri-Tac as well.

Cardinals are a great bird to create around the Holidays. Their rich red color makes them an ideal symbol for the Christmas Season and Winter. This next ornament called; “Peace, Unity, Kindess” was created by Beacon Maker Cindi McGee, Behind These Eyes using burlap, fabric and Beacon Adhesives Fabric-Tac.

What tree would be complete without a Snowman. What can you make with clear glass bulbs, glitter and Beacon Adhesives Glitter-It? Sparkling ornaments for the Christmas Tree like these that I made using Hot Pink Fine Glitter. Just pour some Glitter-It into the bulb. Roll it around till the inside of the bulb is coated, pout out excess into a cup to use for another ornament. Let set for a few minutes. Sprinkle in the glitter and the magic begins.
